Admission to IBMR is a three-stage process and is based on the cumulative performance of the applicant in the following three areas:

• Written Test
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

Written Test

• To be eligible for admission to the MBA /PGPM programme, candidates must pass the "IBMR Common Admission Test (ICAT)". Candidates who have appeared for any of the following examinations may be exempted from the IBMR written test, subject to the approval of the Admissions Committee.
  
  
• Management Aptitude Test (MAT) of All India Management Association (AIMA)
• Common Admission Test (CAT)
• AIMS Test for Management Admission (ATMA)
• Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
• Graduate Managemetn Aptitude Test (GMAT)

Group Discussion and Personal Interview

• Candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview only after they have successfully completed the Written Test process (See details above). Please note that the Group Discussion and Personal Interview is compulsory for either of the above mentioned programmes and there is no exemption for these irrespective of exemption from the IBMR written test.

Admission Procedure

• Fill up and return the Application form along with all necessary documents ( as described in the application instructions).
• Select your place of Personal Interview and confirm your presence as explained in overleaf.
• Students must strictly bring filled in applications along with prescribed Cash/DD as mentioned in overleaf to the interview venue only and need not send the same to IBMR Hubli.
• Successful candidates will receive a letter of offer with instructions on how to complete the administrative procedures.
• Please note that the Admissions Office will not send any letter of regret to unsuccessful candidates.
