I t gives me great pleasure in introducing our Institute as a pioneer in the state of Karnataka catering management education in terms of self development of students and also to meet the social responsibilities towards the poorer section of our people.

Keeping in view the act of spreading the management education across the country and more so in this part of Karnataka, we had started the management educational center at Hubli and Bangalore early in 1998. We are proud that today, the essence of our aim has been fulfilled since the students of the Institute have occupied various managerial positions in many of the graded industries.

I BMR believes that quality education is one where there are three important aspects course rigor, contemporary course and corresponding to the industry requirements. We consider ourselves not mere teaching shops, but islands for transformation. Our Faculty put lot of effort in Research Work and hence continuously improve the quality of teaching bringing a proactive, flexible approach - always ready for changing & updating the syllabi of professional courses.

In IBMR, five themes will be interwoven in the post graduate Management Program.

The global perspective , where issues and business cases of global companies are discussed
Ethical issues are taught and cases of business failures because of eroding ethics is discussed
Creativity and innovation - the two elements of an enterprise creation are encouraged, and incubated.
Groups are required to inculcate leadership habits and dynamics through group work.
Oral and written communication skills are
enhanced through constant training, exercises,
elocution and thematic contests.
